- YouTube
- public websites
- other media providers
These services may collect their own data when you interact with embedded content.
LearnOpen does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.
3. How We Use Information
Information collected through LearnOpen may be used to:
- create and manage user accounts
- enable dashboards, pathways, and saved content

5. Data Storage and Security
LearnOpen takes reasonable steps to protect user data. However, no online system can guarantee complete security.
The platform may use third-party services (such as hosting providers, databases, authentication services, or AI providers) to operate the system.
6. Cookies and Basic Analytics
LearnOpen uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: maintaining your authenticated session, and measuring aggregate usage and performance of the platform.
Session cookies
Cookies set by our authentication provider keep you logged in between page loads. These are strictly necessary to operate the service and are not used for tracking.
Vercel Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how users navigate the platform. Vercel processes the following on our behalf:
- page URL and referrer
- approximate country (derived from IP, then discarded)
- device type and browser user-agent
- a daily-rotating hashed visitor identifier derived from IP and user-agent (Vercel Analytics is cookie-free)
Vercel Speed Insights
We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure page-load performance (Core Web Vitals) so we can improve the experience. It records timing measurements tied to the route being viewed, along with device type and browser. It does not identify individual users.
The legal basis for analytics and performance measurement is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service. Both tools are provided by Vercel Inc. as a sub-processor; we do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising. To opt out, you may use your browser's “Do Not Track” setting or contact us to request exclusion.
7. Data Retention
User account data and platform content may be stored as long as the account remains active.
LearnOpen may remove inactive accounts or data as the platform evolves.
AI interaction logs may also be retained for system improvement and troubleshooting.
8. User Rights
Users may request to:
- update account information
- delete their account
- remove content they have posted
Requests may be made by contacting LearnOpen.
9. Children's Privacy
LearnOpen is not intended for children under the age of 13.
If personal information from a child under 13 is identified, it will be removed.
10. Changes to This Policy
LearnOpen may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The most recent version will always be posted with the updated date.
