Rad Schools Thought Leader Kickoff

OPEN would like to invite you to the 2018 RAD Schools Thought Leader Kick-off next week on Thursday, August 23rd at 4:00 pm at the Iberian Rooster. This group will gather participants from last season’s RAD Schools programming as well as new community connections interested in supporting a fresh take on education. The OPEN team will be facilitating brainstorms and discussions with the group to help find what inspiration and resources our community needs to move the needle on RAD Schools.

If you hadn’t heard, OPEN has had a few leadership transitions since the completion of our last season. The great Walter Balser took a fantastic faculty position at the University of Denver, and Frank Biafora and I were recruited to take up the helm. You can read more about our new team here.

That being said, we are ecstatic to share that Walter has planned a special trip back to St. Petersburg to kick-off the RAD Schools season and will be at our gathering next week! Your participation is what helps this theme thrive and cultivate a community of connected citizens learning and growing together.

We plan to host a closed group brainstorm from 4:00-6:00 pm, then have happy hour 6:00-8:00 pm where anyone from the community can join to learn more about RAD Schools and mingle with our Thought Leaders.
