True Stories Storytelling Show
October 11, 2017 @ 7:00 pm
Last month, thanks to Hurricane Irma, we had to cancel. Since the best revenge is taking those lemons and making whiskey sours, we wanna hear your STORMY WEATHER stories. Maybe you missed Irma, or were passed out for it. No worries, surely you’ve lived through some stormy weather — maybe it didn’t even make a weather forecast. We’re open. Come tell us all about it. The October show takes place Wednesday, October 11, 7pm at Hawthorne Bottle Shop. Get there early to grab a sandwich and a drink, and get your name in the fuckit bucket for a chance to tell your own tale of stormy weather. Barring natural disaster, our featured teller this month will be Creative Loafing’s own arts and entertainment editor, Cathy Salustri. Admission is $5.
We don’t know what’s going to happen. No notes, no props. If you get called up, you’ll get five minutes to tell us your story. Know your first and last sentence, and take us somewhere, and maybe YOU’LL be the featured teller someday.
Believe it or not, we’re a Keep St. Pete Lit event. RSVP here.
Hosted by Lisa L. Kirchner.
