SPC STEM Center Shoreline Restoration

The St. Petersburg College STEM Center has been working diligently to improve the environmental health of their campus site. Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB), Ocean Conservancy, The Environmental and Land Use Law Section of the Florida Bar, and IDEAS For Us Tampa Bay for a rewarding morning of community improvement as we support SPC’s shoreline restoration efforts. Volunteers will assist with native plantings, litter cleanup, and invasive vegetation removal. Please join us in our mission to keep Pinellas beautiful!

WHEN: Saturday, March 12th. Event begins at 9:00 AM.
WHERE TO MEET: SPC STEM Center – 4723 Bay Pines Terrace, St Petersburg, FL 33708
WHAT TO WEAR: Closed toe shoes are required. NO flip flops! Please wear weather appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a hat or sunglasses too.
WHAT TO EXPECT: All cleanup supplies will be provided including pickers, reusable gloves, trash bags, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and bug spray. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle. Breakfast refreshments will be provided by IDEAS For Us.
