February 16, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Girls in grades 6 to 12 are welcome to join us for this school year to learn Python using our CircuitPython Express kits. If you are new, just show up with your student and we’ll spend time getting them enrolled in the class.
Membership in the club is free, no coding experience is necessary. The club is open to all female identifying students in grades 6th – 12th.
We will be meeting during the school year on Wednesday evenings.
Girls Who Code is a nonprofit organization which aims to support and increase the number of women in computer science by equipping young women with the necessary computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities. The organization works toward closing the gender employment difference in technology, and to change the image of what a programmer looks like.
Please that we have several restrictions in place related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
If you are sick, change your RSVP and stay home.
1. Masks are required and must be properly worn.
2. You may be temperature screened when you arrive.
3. Maintain social distancing during the class.
4. If the host is not comfortable with your participation, you could be asked to leave without completing this class. This is done for the safety of everyone in the class.
