November 17, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Et Cultura and Open Partnership Education Network – OPEN present Radical Schools Jams
This is a unique opportunity to take part in an uplifting experience that will inspire youth, celebrate teachers, and expand our intellectual conversations on K-12 schools!
As part of the festival we are dedicating a full day (Friday, Nov. 17) to K-12 education issues through the Rad Schools Jam, which will intersect discussions on K-12 topics, music and sports. We are excited to announce that Geoffrey Canada, founder of Harlem Children’s Zone, will be our keynote speaker.
We also have panels scheduled on other topics that will challenge leaders to rethink how we teach and learn, how we design schools, and more.
Individual events will be posted separately and have times and specific locations with in the new Hyatt Place St. Petersburg/Downtown
