Champions of Civil Rights and Civility

April 11, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Dr. Bernard LaFayette, civil rights pioneer, Freedom Rider, Selma organizer and global champion of Kingian Nonviolence, will share first hand stories from the front lines of social change. He’ll be joined by one of the nation’s leading civil rights historians, USF professor Dr. Ray Arsenault, who recently authored a biography of American icon Arthur Ashe—the Jackie Robinson of men’s tennis—a pioneering athlete who, after breaking the color barrier, went on to become an influential civil rights activist and public intellectual.

The Florida Fellowship Super Choir will kick things off at 7:15 pm sharp,
so don’t be late, you’re not going to want to miss this memorable and inspiring event!
