Celebrate Black History Month – Raise the Flag

Join St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, City Council Members, and Board of Directors of the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum when raising the Woodson flag over City Hall – kicking off the celebration of Black History Month.

The City of St. Petersburg is the only city in the nation to raise the Woodson flag over a government entity in recognition of both Black History Month and the celebrated “Father of Black History,” Dr. Carter G. Woodson.
