2022 Leaders Against Litter

It’s that time of year again! Keep Pinellas Beautiful will be partnering with Keep America Beautiful to host the 2022 Great American Cleanup. Come help us kick off this season by joining your community leaders and elected officials as we stand together to combat the issue of litter in Pinellas County. Presentation will be followed by a cleanup of Gandy Beach.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 8:00 AM
WHERE TO MEET: Meet on the south side of Gandy Beach east of The Getaway Restaurant (27.871820, -82.608692). See image below.
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. We recommend a hat or sunglasses too. For the safety of our staff and volunteers, masks are encouraged.
WHAT TO EXPECT: All cleanup supplies are provided, including pickers, reusable gloves, bags, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and bug spray. A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle.
