Seeds | Farm to Table for Frugal Families & Foodies

November 16, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

How can you eat well, without blowing out your wallet or your waistline? How can you embrace healthier more nutritious options, when your idea of a dinner usually means hitting the drive-through or the microwave?

Healthy eating does not need to be expensive.

We’ll discuss today’s farm to table approach to learning and loving whole foods, while teaching how to cook great nutritious meals for under $4 a day!

Farm to Table for Frugal Families & Foodies:
Teaching the culinary arts of fresh nutrition
1:00pm – 2:30pm ~ Thursday, November 16

Featuring:
PlantPure Chef Kim Campbell – Director of Recipe Development and Culinary Education, PlantPure, Inc., and PlantPure Nation
and Nelson Campbell of the documentary PlantPure Nation and PlantPure Communities

Author of acclaimed healthy living cookbooks and contributor to the film PlantPure Nation, Kim Campbell brings this powerful, science-based approach to nutrition from the big screen to your kitchen.

With a focus on inexpensive and seasonal whole foods, she’ll share some of the same mouthwatering recipes that kick-started the revolution, showing us how to enjoy the health benefits of a whole food, plant-based diet while serving up significant savings on groceries.

Students and Instructors from the @Pinellas County Technical College Culinary Arts Program will be onsite testing recipes and sharing tastes from the PlantPure Kitchen Cookbook. Come enjoy!
