AMRoC Fab Lab Grand Re-Opening

Join us to Celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of AMRoC Fab Lab!

The Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics Center (AMRoC) Fab Lab, a program of the nonprofit Foundation for Community Driven Innovation (FCDI), is a public Fab Lab dedicated to building capacity in the University Area community. AMRoC aims to inspire personal empowerment through creative self-expression and to bridge the manufacturing and industry talent gap through robust project-based engineering education and training. It’s also just plain fun!

We’re kicking off our 3rd anniversary in new digs across the hall from our current space in University Mall (aka RITHM at Uptown) and we hope you’ll come check out our new and bigger space, and celebrate three years of #MakingthatMatters at AMRoC!

We’ll have light food and refreshments, and guests can enjoy robotics, 3D printing and esports demos and experiences, and tours of the Fab Lab, including our new and expanded workshop, learning labs and studio spaces, and also hear about upcoming summer and fall programming.

With special thanks to our sponsors and community partners: RITHM at Uptown, Soaring City Innovation Partnership, Florida High Tech Corridor, Lockheed Martin, SOFWERX, Truist, Stryke Esports, PLUGHITZ Live, eSmart Recycling, U.S. Auto Training, Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative, NET SVS, CANDO and the wonderful Uptown Tampa Community Collaborative!
