Evening with the Author: Craig Pittman

This Evening’s guest will be Craig Pittman, award-winning author of several books such as Paving Paradise and Manatee Insanity, and journalist since 1998 for Florida’s largest newspaper, the Tampa Bay Times. Pittman is a native Floridian whose work often focuses on exploring issues in his home state such as hurricanes, wildfires and the Florida Legislature. In his newest book Oh, Florida!, Pittman discusses the entertaining contradictions that define Florida and how it influences all of the other states in the Union.

Enjoy hearing from Pittman himself on how the Sunshine state has and continues to inspire his writing. Attendees are welcome to bring copies of his books to be signed.
