Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Friday: Rainwater Harvesting Workshop

February 16, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Have you ever thought “What a waste!” when you see rainwater pouring out of your gutter downspout and then down the street? Then join UF/IFAS Extension Florida-Friendly Landscaping agent Brian Niemann for this hour-long workshop on how to save that water in a recycled plastic drum for use in your landscape! The collected water may be used for your plant beds, potted plants, and special plant collections. Each attendee will receive instructions on how to build and install a rain barrel, or you also have the option of *purchasing a completed rain barrel in advance of the workshop.

*Rain Barrels are available only at the class and prepayment is required when registering.
